Spend two days getting to know the machine that keeps quilters and embroiderers talking: the award-winning Janome Continental M17. This isn’t a sit-and-watch demo. You’ll have a machine in front of you and a project in your hands from the first hour.
Your guide is Anne Hein, Janome educator and host of the weekly LIVE on the Janome Sewing Machines Facebook page. Anne has been a Janome sewist since her very first machine and teaches the way you wish every class went: hands-on, full of ideas, and genuinely fun. If you’ve watched her online, here’s your chance to sew alongside her in person.
What you’ll make and master
This is an embroidery-rich, project-based event. Over two days you’ll work through:
- Couching with decorative yarn
- Quilting in the magnetic hoop
- Ruler-work and free-motion quilting with the Accurate Stitch Regulator
- Applique cornering
- The AcuSketch and AcuSetter apps
- Artistic Digitizer Jr.
You’ll leave with a finished project and a real feel for what the CM17 can do in your own hands.
Everything’s provided
Walk in empty-handed. Your kit includes all the fabric, batting, stabilizer, thread, and needles you’ll need, plus a Janome Artisan Curves ruler to use during class. A machine is set up and ready at your station.
